We help people get in control of their money, by showing them how to avoid being victimized by the government,
the health care system, Wall Street and the banks — and to take advantage of the situation when those systems fail.

A Different Approach to financial strategy

At Arieff Consulting, we take an income-based approach to retirement. Does it really matter how big of a nest egg you have at age 65, if you don’t know how long it will need to last, how much of your life’s fortune will be siphoned off in taxes, eroded by inflation, surrendered for health care, or obliterated in a market crash?

What really matters in retirement is income - knowing where that income will come from, and that you will have enough for the rest of your life.

Plan as if you are going to live forever. Live as if you are going to die today.
— Nelson Nash

We help our clients realize their financial dreams in three ways. First, we help co-author a strategy that addresses your unique situation and your specific concerns, goals, and dreams. Our potential solution will show you, in detail, where all of your sources of income will come from, and what your expected income will be, for the rest of your life.

In addition, we will encourage you to continuously educate yourself along the way. Most people do not have an adequate understanding of how money really works. In fact, many financial professionals don’t know! We sincerely want our clients to empower themselves by becoming financially savvy. We want them to pass that knowledge to their children and friends. That is why this website contains a Financial Awakening section that anyone can access for free, without having to be a client or having to pay a fee. How many other financial service providers will offer you valuable information for free?

Finally, we will maintain our relationship long after any paperwork is signed. Your situation will change numerous times throughout the course of your life. There will be personal life events like births or job changes. There will be unpredictable external events like natural disasters, Covid-19, or recessions (and booms!). Of course, these changes will often require financial changes. We will be available to you every step of the way.

our process

introduction

(15 minutes) A casual, ice breaking conversation. We’ll answer your questions and explain our approach to financial strategy. We will not ask about your personal situation.

confidential financial analysis

(75 minutes) This is a discussion about your financial situation, concerns, and goals, but more. In this judgement-free meeting, we would also like to learn about your beliefs when it comes to money, and the “why” behind your financial goals. This helps us design the right proposal.

Presentation of Your Potential Financial Solution (PFS)

(75 minutes) Our team of experts will synthesize a comprehensive potential solution to your financial concerns and goals. We will support our conclusions in a straight-forward way, driven by data and math. You will be able to get a reasonable estimate of what your income can be in retirement and for the rest of your life. The Potential Financial Solution likely will be the most thorough financial analysis you ever had, and this is done for free. You will be able to keep a copy of the PFS.

TAKE ACTION!

You’re in control. You have educated yourself and have clarified what actions you need to take, if any. We are here to help. At the very least, you should now have a strategy to deal with the numerous risks and opportunities that come your way.

CONTINUING RELATIONSHIP

As required, we will review your financial strategy and work together to make appropriate changes. This is not a one-time transaction, but a long-term relationship. We will be there to guide you through all of life’s financial obstacles and opportunities. But you will always remain in control.

FREE FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

There is no cost or obligation to undergo a comprehensive analysis, or simply to have a discussion. Wouldn’t it be worth a few minutes of your time to gain some clarity on any number of financial topics, many of which are addressed on this website? The worst thing that can happen is that you learn something!
